Team History:
The team from Abstract Hosting have had experience in web design and internet services since the early 1990's. Originally, just running LINUX servers (System Administrators) for a networking group we branched into providing internet services for private and commercial clients on our own servers.
Web Servers:
Optical Design (Our Registered Business Name) now maintains six online web servers. These include Mail Servers, Web Servers and Name Servers. So, when you host with us, you deal with us. This has always been our core objective, to deal directly with our clients and customers.
DIY & SAVE:
We do have several DIY clients that prefer to maintain their own web sites. This may be for a variety of reasons including the ability to make quick changes. Abstract Hosting provides these DIY site operators with the internet facilities and technical support* should it be required.
How we Help:
We have designed hundreds of web sites and currently host about 70 fully managed sites on our servers. These sites are designed and maintained by our web design team. This experience makes us an essential source of information for your DIY web site presence.
Obtaining Help or Assistance:
Yes, we do have an online Help Desk and no, you do not have to use it. If preferred you can telephone us for assistance. We are more than happy to talk to you or jump in and assist.
Training:
If you need training you can come to us or we can come to you*. If you are like us, you prefer to work on your own computer. It's familiar and in your work environment. So, we can train you on site so you are working in your own environment immediately. We are able to assist with all aspects of your web site. Including C-Panel, Email, Mailing Lists, Shopping Carts and More.
